I think what’s going on in DOA6 is there is an animation issue where characters are turning their heads from the wrong joint. As the models and rigs are set up in both games, moving from the pit-of-the-neck joint is going to look weird. So for characters in DOA5 and 6 to have their necks look natural when the turn their heads side to side they need to move from that skull joint.
